1 colour slide; Ektachrome Transparency; by Kodak; developed in June 1969; taken in 1968 or 1969; shows a group of children from Sperling United Church Sunday School with a minister and two other adult women. There are 13 children visible in the photograph. The people are posed standing in multiple rows. The children on the far left side of the image are partially cut off/out of frame; furthest left is a girl in a red, white and blue vertically striped dress; her left arm and left leg are visible. There is another girl behind her wearing a white shirt and light green skirt; she is also partially cut off by the edge of the photograph. There are 2 boys on the far right of the group; the boy furthest to the right wears a dark blue collared shirt, black slacks and black shoes; his arms are crossed and he is holding a book or some kind of paper against his chest. The other boy (just to the left) wears black slacks, a grey suit jacket, white collared shirt and tie; he also holds a book or paper in one hand and has one arm held across the front of his body. There is a minister (?) in the center of the group in the very back; he is taller than the rest of the group, and wears a dark shirt, suit jacket, full clerical collar and glasses. There are two adult women just to the right of the minister; one has short, light coloured hair and appears to be wearing a light coloured shirt or dress (she is hardly visible because there are two young girls standing directly in front of her); the other woman wears a white dress with a thin black strip along the neckline and a pink headscarf; she appears to be looking down at the ground or at her hands. All of the other young girls in the photograph are well-dressed; wearing dresses, skirts, and many have knee-high white socks. One girl in the center of the group (just to the left of the minister) has a light coloured, patterned dress and two light coloured ribbons in her hair that are tied around her pigtails. Most of the people in the photograph are looking at the photographer and many of them are smiling. The photograph was taken outdoors; the group is standing in front of a number of trees.
