Jack Dingwall (left) and Stu Potts (right) posing with a black bear they shot. Stu Potts saw the bear in the field below the house at the rear of his farm on McBurnie Road. He called his neighbour, Jack Dingwall, who assisted in hunting and killing the bear. Story in The Langley Advance, July 1, 1954, page 1.
