c.1890; the object is a quilted rectangle with a Christmas card on one side; the front of the card is white and sewn; embroidered on the front is a sentence which reads: "Wishing/you/very much/happiness" in pink thread; around the edges of the card are thread tassels; the back of the card (or the Christmas card side) has a gold-rimmed card with flower illustrations on it; the card reads: "A Christmas/ Greeting/ My Greeting dear is made/ I post it now to thee/ Though few words I've said/ My heart speaks fervently".
