One pencil sketch of Simpson Private Hospital. Artist name and date is unknown. Initials "C.V." written in pencil on lower right corner. Image appears to be of a late Autumn setting, as there are no leaves on the tree in the front yard of Simpson Hospital. Fading along the edges of the paper, due to the frame it was once in.

SEE Simpson Manor
The hospital is named for Mrs. Mary Josephine Simpson (nee Thompson), the owner of the original farmhouse (1898) that occupied this site. Mrs. Simpson offered room and board in the house, sometimes free of charge. Receiving a nursing home license in 1954 (one of BC’s first licenses), the facility has seen several changes. The manor was completely reconstructed in 2005. The manor is located at 8838 Glover Road.
