Description

Banner that would be hung from its metal eyelets for display and promotion of the B.C. Summer Games in 2010. It is in a pair with 2019.027.004. It is printed with white, blue, yellow, and red. The banner depicts several people (in yellow) being active and taking part in summer sports and activities, including running, hockey, hurdling, and playing soccer. The formation of the people and the colours in the background imitates the appearance of B.C.'s provincial flag. Along the left side of the banner, inside a blue border, is white text that reads "BC SUMMER GAMES". On the bottom of the banner it says "Township of/ LANGLEY/ JULY/ 22-25/ WWW.2010BCSUMMERGAMES.ORG/ DREAM". There are metal eyelets in each corner, and two extra in the top and bottom corners of the left side.
