A hardcover book titled "Our Family: Penzers, Ponaks, Naylors, and More." The book has a light blue cover with black text centred on the top half of the front cover reading: "Our Family: Penzers, Ponaks, Naylors, and More / Michael Lyall Penzer, Ph.D." On the bottom half of the front cover there is a colour photograph with fifteen people standing, seated, and reclined, gathered for a group photo outside. The back cover has two photographs, both black and white: one on the top half of the back cover, with three rows of people standing, seated, and seated on the ground for a group photo outside, including older people and children; and the photograph on the bottom half also has three rows of people standing and seated for a group photograph indoors. There is a barcode and ISBN number in black and white centred on the bottom of the bottom photograph of the back cover. The photograph on the front appears to have been taken sometime in the late 20th century, while the back two photographs are likely from the end of the 19th century. The book details the Penzer family and its history, including information about Alf Penzer a former Mayor of the City of Langley. It also includes information about other local Langley people including members of the Langley Masonic Lodge, and people with parks and schools named after them who were known by the Penzers. The book has glossy pages, several illustrations throughout. It is 430 pages. It was published in December of 2018.
There is a typed note in the book addressed to the museum curator which outlines the contents and explains the index.
