Brown glass bottle of "Glykeron"; 16 fluid ounces; beige label with small brown text explaining product and dosage information; the top of the bottle is sealed with a cork and wax; there is dark liquid inside the bottle, about 1/3 full; there is a cork floating inside the bottle; there is smaller dark blue label on the back of the bottle that reads "In the manufacture of this prep-/ aration, the non-trade-marked / Morphine Diacetyl Hydrochloride is / now being used ... [cont]"; this was likely produced by "Martin H. Smith Co. / Pharmaceutical Chemists / New York, U.S.A" (text printed on the bottom of the label); this bottle came from Brandow's Drug Store in Langley, which operated from 1945-1981 (formerly Angus M. Plewes Chemist & Druggist, beginning around 1920).
