Black and white photograph of Fen Williams and Frank Jackson with ten raccoons they had killed; published in the Langley Advance Newspaper on Feb. 1, 1962 with the caption "UNUSUAL bag of 10 raccoons in one afternoon was the proud result of Fen Williams and Frank Jackson's local hunting efforts last Thursday. Lined up after the kill in Mr. Williams' yard, Topham Rd. and Williams Rd., the predators made an impressive display. Fen and Frank tracked the animals in the snow, treed them, and then brought them down with their shotguns at the rear of Mr. and Mrs. Jollymour's property on Taylor Rd. The raccoons were found in three groups between a quarter and a half a mile apart in a matter of four hours. The bag includes seven males and only three females. The little in front weighed 10 pounds and the rest went around 25 pounds each. Frank and Fen pointed out that this number of raccoons must have required a tremendous amount of food to keep in good shape by preying on pheasants, grouse, ducks and chickens. Their presence explains the disappearance of a number of Mrs. Jollymour's ducks."
