Description

Prescription pad from Plewe's Drug Store (a), enclosed inside it's own box sleeve (b); binding of pad reads "Shannon Prescription Transfer Case R. No. 25." Item is dated Sept. 19, 1922, and includes prescriptions from Drs. Marr and McBurney; prescriptions on the pad are dated until August 22, 1923. The prescription pad eventually came from Langley's Brandow Drug Store (operating 1945-1981), which was formerly Angus M. Plewes Druggist and Chemist (Plewe's Drug Store, 1920-1944); based on the dates of the enclosed prescriptions, this prescription pad was in use when the business was still Plewe's Drug Store.
