Ceramic off-white coloured cookie jar (a) with a golden rimmed lid (b). One side of the jar as well as the top of the lid feature a painted graphic of the British coat of arms. A Bruce Bairnsfather illustration is printed on one side OF the jar showing a German solider tangled up in some barbed wire, "GOTT STRAFE THIS BARBED WIRE" is printed under it along with Bruce Bairnsfather's signature just above it. The bottom of the jar reads "MADE BY THE GIRLS OF STAFFORDSHIRE DURING THE WINTER OF 1917 WHEN THE BOYS WERE IN THE TRENCHES FIGHTING FOR LIBERTY AND CIVILIZATION." the paint on the jar and lid is cracking and chipped in some places.
