A 25 volume encyclopedia set titled "The Historian's History of the World." The books have green covers with black spines and corners. The black sections have gold patterns on them which resembled stylized leaves. The spine of each book has text in gold reading "The Historian's History of the World" at the top, with the volume and their own unique subtitle on the bottom. Many of the spines have faded from black to light brown. On each volume there are different stylized gold drawings in the leaves on the spine, including towers, flowers and anchors. The set was published in 1904 by The Outlook Company: New York and The History Association: London. The set was edited by Henry Smith Williams. Within the museum catalogued they are labelled a-y.

Many of the volumes have a stamp on inside cover reading "The Trading Bureau, 115 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver..."
