Description

Brown paper sack. Includes image of Fort Langley bastion and reads "Net Weight 50 lbs when packed, Roger's Fort-I-Fied Feeds No. 5 Wheat, W.S. Rogers & Co. Ltd. Fort Langley and Abbotsford B.C. R1-A." The sack was found in the attic of a house on Trattle Street that formerly belonged to the Greenwood family; Gordon Greenwood worked at Roger's Feeds.

Greenwood, Gordon

Gordon Greenwood (1921-2008), born in 1921 in Cessford, Alberta. A Langley businessman and school board trustee. The eldest of 11 children, he graduated from Langley High School. He served on school boards from 1978-1990. When he died, he left behind his wife and four children. He worked in Roger's Feed Store in Fort Langley.
