1 order book ; paper with metal coil binding. This is a "Coil Rotary" order book, bound with a slim metal coil, with brown paper covers. The book is taller than it is wide. The book belonged to Harvey Harris of 7992 Topham Road, Milner; Harvey was a builder and carpenter, and this order book keeps track of some of his work. The order book dates from 1948 - 1953. The book's pages have red ruled margins on the left and right sides of the page, creating three columns on each page. The pages consist of records of materials used by Harvey for construction work, recorded by the date in the left margin, materials in the centre column, and cost for materials in the right margin. The records are written in both ink and pencil. The person or business for whom Harvey was doing work is recorded at the top of each page that begins a new project, including names such as "Payne," "Co-op," "Smith," "Bensley," "Buckley," "Arnold," Brooks," and so on. There are occasionally some mathematics equations written on the pages, and there are assorted receipts for materials, loose notes, and cheques tucked into the order book.
