6710 Glover Road, Milner. Built 1926-27 by/for Leonard Mufford and his wife Mary (Molly), a farmer and one of the Mufford's involved in running Thorndale Hatchery.

Mufford, Leonard Hicks (Len)

Leonard Hicks Mufford was born March 1, 1896, to parents Jonathan (John) Hicks and Elizabeth Ruth Mufford (nee Harding). He spent all his life in Milner, and was a veteran of WWI. He was a member of the Milner Orange Lodge and the Milner Community Assoc., and was involved with the Thorndale Hatchery. He married Mary Fairweather (nee Hill) in Milner on December 23, 1925. They had two daughters, Mrs. D. Kier and Thelma. Len died on March 11, 1953, at the age of 57.
