The banner depicts several people (in yellow) being active and taking part in summer sports and activities, including running, hockey, baseball, bike riding, skate boarding, and horseback riding. The formation of the people and the colours in the background imitates the appearance of B.C.'s provincial flag. Along the right side of the banner, inside a blue border, is white text that reads "2010 BC SUMMER GAMES".
