1 black and white class photograph with white border; in background is sign on building that reads "Langley/ Central School"; white text on the bottom of the photograph reads "Div 3" on the left and "1950" on the right, next to the studio's signature ("Nova"?); Jacqueline Nurse is among the students; writing on the top left side of the back of the photo is a list of names in pencil: "Muriel Dundas[sp?]/ Ann Gordon/ Merilyn Johnston (sp?)/ Palsey Barkkausen/ Anne Anderson/ A. Olson [teacher]/ Sharron Milligan"; on the bottom right on the back of the photograph is printed "Jacqueline Nurse" in black ink.

Langley Central School
This building was originally Langley High School. It later became Langley Central School, before finally being Langley Central Fundamental School. It burned down in the 1990s.
Martin, Jacqueline (nee Nurse)
Jacqueline (Jackie) Maureen Nurse was born to parents Walter and Doris Nurse in Vancouver on May 6, 1939, but was raised in Langley. She had two sisters, Maxine and Dixie, and a brother named Kenneth. The family lived at 5483 203rd Street, and Jackie attended Langley Prairie School during the 1940s. She worked for BC Tel, like her father, and married a Mr. Martin. They had two daughters. Jackie passed away on December 7, 1997.
Nova Studios (photography studio)
A photography studio located at Box 585. (maybe 535) Langley Prairie B.C. Later it changed it's name to Nova Studios and Camera Supply. Phone: 534-5116.
