The Church of the Holy Redeemer is located at 23543 Gabriel Lane. The church was constructed between 1897 and 1902 by Kwantlen First Nation on McMillan Island, making it the oldest Roman Catholic church still standing in Langley Township. 50,000 board feet of logs for the church were cut off reserve land near Ruskin and rafted to the Royal City Mill in New Westminster and sawn into lumber.

The picturesque church has many interesting architectural details, with triangular arch windows, a triangular shaped window over the front entrance, and a circular window in the front gable end. Over the years the church has seen many restorations and renovations, with most recently receiving a new steeple. There are still occasional worship ceremonies or weddings at the church but in recent years it has mostly been used in movies and television by the film industry.
