Photograph taken looking east of White Road taken from one of the boats the government loaned to families in need during the flood. This boat was loaned to the Bethell family, who took the photo. The Bethell property is to the left.

Bethell, Frank & Ada
Owned the Bethell Farm on White Road in West Langley (White Road ran between 200th and 208th Street, just north of the railway tracks - approximately where 102B Avenue is). Frank and Ada were married January 21, 1919 and they moved to the farm sometime after they were married. The couple had four children, three girls (including Kay and Joan) and one boy, Bob.
