Wooden grindstone handle; the largest portion of this object is a rectangular block of wood, approximately 12" long, 2" wide and 1" thick; the top side of this rectangular block has one shallow groove on either edge, running lengthwise; at one end of the rectangle is a rough circular hole, flanked by two small rectangular blocks of wood (2"x1" pieces); the hole goes all the way through the piece of wood; the two smaller rectangular pieces are attached to the larger piece with 2 rusted nails each (4 total); at the opposite end, on the bottom, is a wooden handle; the handle is a cylindrical wooden piece, just over 4" long and 1" in diameter; it is attached to the larger rectangular piece through another smaller block of wood; the head of a very large nail can be seen on the top of the object; the end of the same nail appears to protrude slightly from the bottom of the handle.
