Wooden hat block comprised of 7 pieces (1995.029.003A - 1995.029.003G); parts A and B are the largest components, both roughly semicircular; A and B form most of the central mass of the hat block; part A has the number "1" carved in the bottom, part B has the number "3" carved in the bottom; parts C and D are the smaller pieces which fit between A and B; part C has the number "2" carved in the bottom; part D has the number "4" carved into the bottom; part E is the innermost piece at the center of the hat block and has a cylindrical hole in the bottom; part E has the numbers "1", "2", "3" and "4" carved in the bottom; part F is the curved wooden ring (approx. 3" in diameter) which holds part A through E together; A - E fit snugly inside of part F; part G is the stand for the hat block, which has an upwardly protruding dowel that fits into the hole on part E. The stand (Part G) is interchangeable with 1995.029.001F, 1995.029.002F, and 1995.029.004 (there are 4 stands which all appear to fit and function with 3 different multi-piece hat blocks).
