Romeo and Mary Caron lived in West Langley on 88th Avenue, east of the Port Kells Pool. They had two children, Raymond and Rita. They owned a roofing business called Caron's MFG., located at 19696 Fraser Highway, across from the current location of the Willowbrook Mall. When they closed the business and sold the property, they helped to build the next business on that location, which was a Smitty's. Romeo was killed by a teenage drunk driver in 1987.
