This building at 6918 232nd Street was originally built for Joseph Cookson Kidd, who had come to Canada from England in 1884 and worked in Ontario before coming to Vancouver in 1885. In the late 1880's Kidd headed to Fort Langley and then homesteaded on about 300 acres on Livingston Road, near the Salmon River. He married Melinda Israel in Mount Lehman on January 25, 1899, and they started their
