Small, brown glass bottle that contained sodium salicylate tablets; rectangular bottle with round neck; approximately 4.5" tall; the opening of the bottle is sealed with a cork; there is a dark blue paper sticker on the top of the cork that reads "Frank W. Horner / Limited / Montreal"; there is a beige label with a dark border on the front of the bottle that reads "Compressed tablets / No. 219 / Sodium / Salicylate / 5 / Grains"; the label also indicates that this was "Manufactured by / Frank W. Horner Limited / Montreal"; the bottle is empty; this bottle came from Brandow's Drug Store in Langley, which operated from 1945-1981 (formerly Angus M. Plewes Chemist & Druggist, beginning around 1920).
