King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra Coronation Mug, June 26, 1902. There are portraits of Queen Alexandra and King Edward VII on the front of the mug in brown ink. Above these portraits are crowns and the Royal Coat of Arms (lion on left and unicorn on the right: "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE. DIEU ET MON DROIT"). Between the portraits is printed "TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF KING EDWARD VII AND QUEEN ALEXANDRA, JUNE-26-1902." In a gold ribbon below the portraits is printed "KING OF THE BRITISH DOMINIONS BEYOND THE SEAS." At the bottom of the portraits is printed "PEYTON TEMPLE MACKESON ESQR./MAYOR OF CHICHESTER." Flags with wreaths flank the portraits which are surrounded by pink and blue flowers and green vegetation. There is gold on the rim, handle, and base of the mug.
