Silver calling card case with a short chain handle. The case is engraved with a flourish design on both sides, and a shield with what appears to be an "R" in the centre. Inside the case, one side is lined with green fabric and has two compartments with two smaller compartments in front; the other side is brass, with a square inset and another inset below it that is smaller, with a hinged lid over it. A mechanical pencil (1967.011.004) is inside the square inset. This case was used by William McClughan around 1900.
