Beaton, William (Bob)
William (Bob) John Campbell Beaton was born on 18 February 1890 to parents Roderick and Christina (nee Campbell) in Cutoff Valley (Fraser Mills?), BC. He moved with his parents at the age of three to Otter Road in Langley, where he lived until he was 17. He had a brother and a sister, Alexander Neil Stuart (b. 1892) and Effie Marie (b. 1897). He started attending Otter School when he was about 6 years old, and Sadie McInnes took him to school.
Bob married Margaret Grace Walden Brown (1891-1974) in 1938. He died on October 12, 1985 in Burnaby.
