Ruby Adeline Annie was born in 1906 to parents Mr. and Mrs. J. Mellarship. She married a Mr. Brinson, and they had a son, Ford. Ruby was a widow when she visited her mother in Glen Valley. Ruby was involved in the Red Cross and the Glen Valey Ladies Club. When husband Gordon fell ill in 1971, the couple sold the farm but continued to live in the little house on the property until Gordon died in 1984.
