Gertrude Evelyn Florence Radford was born on September 11, 1905 and on March 17, 1925 married William James Cornock. They had three children: Verna (b. 1929), Glen (b. 1933) and Irene (b. 1935). She died on July 13, 1995, and was buried in the Fort Langley Cemetery.

Verna Cornock was born in 1929 to parents Gertrude (nee Radford) and William Cornock. She married Lute Edall. She is possibly named for an aunt who died at the age of two back in Ontario.
