Edge, Hamilton Percy
Hamilton Percy Edge was born February 22nd, 1898, on the Edge family farm on the banks of the Fraser River, just west of Fort Langley. His family was one of the earliest ones to settle Fort Langley. Mr. Edge would become an automotive salesman and live for a time in Vancouver before returning to the family farm. He owned Edgewater Fishing Bar, a well known spot located on the Fraser River next to his family home. In 1924 he married Nellie Elizabeth Routley. Nellie passed away in 1947. He later married Hilda Edge. In conversation he was often referred to as "Percy". He died in 1972. His farm is now part of Derby Reach Park.
