Simpson Bros. Store
In 1929 the Simpson brothers moved to Fort Langley from Aldergrove and began running the Simpson Bros. Store in the Fort Grocery building. John and James Simpson were running the building at 9179 Glover Road as "Simpson Bros. Store." John was married to a woman named Lillian, nee Baker, and they lived above the store. In 1951 the Simpson Bros. store was lost to the bank and went on sale.

Simpson, Alice
Alice Graham Ritchie married James Simpson and settled out near 264th St. in 1913. Mrs. Simpson and her children moved to Fort Langley in the early 1929. Her children are James, Mary, John, David, and Janet (Jenny). John and Jim ran the Simpson Bros. Store in Fort Langley, and although David helped out, he ran his own trucking business. Alice died in 1953.
