Borden, L.E., 1877-1963
L.E. Borden was married to Nurse K. Ethel Gray. Dr. Borden was also an official of the 1904 expedition to take possession of Ellesmereland. Dr. Borden lived on 56th Ave. (west of 232nd) Langley during 1940's to 1963 - was well known in Langley as a practicing semi-retired doctor. Had served in Canadian Armed Forces as doctor in WWI and WWII. Lived in the Coleman, B.C.area between wars. Came to Langley after WWII.
