A print of a painting that shows an amphibious military attack on a beach. Soldiers are unloading onto the beach and running up to the wall while under attack from explosions and gunfire. Beyond the beach is town with damaged buildings and fires burning. A small building at the centre of the prints has a white sign that reads, "Bernieres." The print has a caption that reads, "D Day Assuault / Bernieres-sur-Mer, Normandy / 6 June 1944," and "The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada," printed beside a maple leaf emblem with a "2" in the centre. The bottom right corner of the print is signed, "Orville Fisher," in blue ink.
