Members of the Baker and Treliving families on "The Stump Farm" on McClarty Road. In the photo are Lillian, Gordie, Gladys, Sis Treliving, Peggy, Pa Treliving, Ma Baker, Fanny & Baby Marjorie, Pa Baker, Ma Treliving, Erne, Norah, and Fred. Stan is taking the photograph. Part of an inset but unidentified image can be seen on the left.

Baker, Elizabeth "Sis" (nee Treliving)
Elizabeth Baker, "Sis" (nee Treliving) was born in Fleming, Saskatchewan (then part of Northwest Territories) on July 12, 1898 to William and Mary Treliving. The Treliving family moved to Langley in 1911 and pioneered in the Walnut Grove area. Elizabeth married Ernest Edgar Baker on November 19, 1921. Their children are Lillian Nora Baker, Gordon William Baker, and Roy Edward Baker. Elizabeth Baker (nee Treliving) died in Langley, BC on January 16, 1959.

Husband of Elizabeth Baker (nee Treliving). Elizabeth married Ernest Edgar Baker on November 19, 1921. Their children are Lillian Nora Baker, Gordon William Baker, and Roy Edward Baker.
Baker, Ethel Kate Henry Neale
Kate was born in Bristol, England, on January 18, 1876. She married Frederick William Baker on March 26, 1894. They had six children, including Ernest Edgar, Frederick William, and Albert.
Baker, Frances May (nee Treliving)
Frances May Baker (nee Treliving) was born on June 25, 1904. She married Frederick William Baker in Langley, BC on October 18, 1924. They had five children, Gladys Yvonne Baker, Marjorie Frances Baker, Kathleen May Baker, Phyllis Lorraine Baker, and Beverly Blanche Baker. Frances May Baker (nee Treliving) died on November 16, 1976.

Baker, Gordon William
Gordon William Baker was born in Langley, BC on August 18, 1926. He married Charlotte Marie Olson in Milner on March 26, 1948. They had three children, Marie Elizabeth Irvin (nee Baker), Heather Anne Anderlini (nee Baker), and Carol Louise Maitland (nee Baker). Gordon William Baker died in Langley, BC on November 13, 1969.
Simpson, Lillian Nora (nee Baker)
Lillian Nora Simpson (nee Baker) was born June 1, 1923 in Vancouver, BC, the daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth (nee Treliving) Baker. Lillian Baker was a student at Willoughby School in 1932 (Grade 1-6?). She married John Ritchie Simpson in Milner on June 10, 1944, and had two daughters, Muriel Margaret and Elizabeth Maureen. Lillian died in Surrey, BC on February 6, 1992.
Treliving, William
William Treliving was born in Stoke Damerel, England on July 26, 1863 to John Henry Treliving and Elizabeth Fanny (nee Purchase). William Treliving emigrated to Fleming, Saskatchewan with his brother Walter sometime between 1871 and 1896. William married Mary Grayson in 1896, and they had four children John Henry (Jack) (born Feb. 23, 1897), Elizabeth Frances (born Jul. 12, 1898), William Ewart (born 1902) and Frances May (born Oct. 25, 1904). They moved to Langley in 1911 where William was a farmer and fisherman. William and Mary pioneered in the Walnut Grove area. William Treliving died on June 9, 1954.
