This brochure's front is divided into three sections; the first section closest to the spine and in white following all the way down in a slanted divide shows two crests. The first crest in the top left hand corner is labeled, " Township of / Langley / Est. 1873 ". The second crest directly underneath is labeled "CITY OF / LANGLEY." The second section of the front of this brochure is in red in the top right portion that reads in white print, "DOUGLAS DAY / 2015." The third section of the front of this brochure mostly in black in the bottom right hand corner reads, "LANGLEY CELEBRATES / ITS PIONEER MEDICAL SERVICES / LANGLEY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, C.1948." This third portion also shows a black and white photo that divides the text. The photo shows a large building with a lot of windows behind a forest with large trees. One portion of this building is darker then the rest and may be made out of wood. On this portion of the building are three lines in capital white letters.
Within this brochure the left page has two borders starting with a large outermost black border. Followed by a thin red border and within the center of these borders is a larger white rectangle used for writing the description of the event. This first page of the brochure reads the date, "Thursday, November 19, 2015." The other page is all white minus a grey watermark behind the text that takes up about two thirds in the middle of the page. This page is titled, "Douglas Day / 2015." It gives an inside look on the events including; "12:50pm Dinner." and "1:50pm Acknowledgment of Pioneers."
On the back side of this brochure the text is broken into two sections horizontally. The first section in red print reads, "LANGLEY CELEBRATES / ITS PIONEER MEDICAL SERVICES." The second section is a black and white photo of a clearing in a forest with a white sign in the foreground amongst some tall grass. The photo is followed by some text in white print that reads, "LAYING THE FOUNDATIONS TO THE FIRST HOSPITAL, JULY 1947 / PHOTO COURTESY OF: LANGLEY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ARCHIVES."
