Metal clasp pin with 3 maple leaves & crown "GENERAL SERVICE". The pin belonged to Fred Kells, who was a member of the 13th Field Ambulance during the First World War; in the Second World War he was among the veterans who guarded prisoners of war (POWs) held at Moose Jaw, Medicine Hat, and Rocky Mountain House. The back of the pin has the number "746704" etched into it, and the words: "PENALTY/ FOR MISUSE/ 500 DOLLARS/ OR SIX MONTHS/ IMPRISONMENT/ STERLING."
