The fonds consists of copies of the original signatures of the 29 petitioners who requested the incorporation of the Langley and Derby district into a municipality on March 23, 1872, and typed lists of the petitioners' names [1973].

Pepin, Alexander Joseph
Alexander Joseph Pepin was born in Murrayville on December 7, 1905, to Thomas Alfred Pepin and Lucy Pepin (nee Annand). He married Edna Wilson and had Marie and Aldred. Edna passed away in 1946 and Alexander married Lily Peacey. Alexander was known for collecting and displaying Canadian flags. He lived much of his life in the Aldergrove area. Alexander died on July 18, 1978.
