Description

One empty Aspirin glass bottle with a twist metal cap. The top of metal cap has the word "BAYER". Front label is yellow and brown in colour with the words "48 TABLETS" "5 GR EACH" in brown font. In larger white font "ASPIRIN", below that in brown font "FAST RELIEF FROM PAIN AND DISCOMFORT OF HEADACHES, COLDS". The left side of the glass bottle is embossed with "THE BAYER CO LTD". The right side is embossed with "ASPIRIN". The expiry date on back label reads "EXP. 01/81". From the Simpsons Private Hospital.

SEE Simpson Manor
The hospital is named for Mrs. Mary Josephine Simpson (nee Thompson), the owner of the original farmhouse (1898) that occupied this site. Mrs. Simpson offered room and board in the house, sometimes free of charge. Receiving a nursing home license in 1954 (one of BC’s first licenses), the facility has seen several changes. The manor was completely reconstructed in 2005. The manor is located at 8838 Glover Road.
