Easingwood, Reg
Reg Easingwood was born on March 23, 1924, in Vancouver. He grew up in Milner and Langley. He served as a mechanic during World War II, in England and France. Reg also served as councillor and mayor in Langley City.
Hunter, Merv
Merv Hunter started his own sheet metal business in 1970, and was also the volunteer chief of the Langley City Fire Department. He was a Langley City Alderman in 1972, and again in 1974. He married Margaret Greenfield.
Langley City
The City of Langley, B.C., covering the Langley Prairie region, was incorporated in 1955.
Omelaniec, Michael
Michael Omelaniec was born in 1935. He was part owner of Langley Concrete and Tile Ltd. and held interests in Double Eagle Developments, Ltd. He was a Langley City alderman, and re-elected in 1974. He declined to vote on the OCP or zoning bylaw relating to the Imperial Palace land deal. He had some involvment with the Langley Music School. He died June 6, 2003.
