Brown, Margaret (nee Gray)
Margaret (Gray) Brown was born in 1884. She was the daughter of Margaret Lawrence (1884-1929) and James Scroggie Gray (1853-1915) of Langley and New Westminster. She married Thomas Joseph Brown in 1909, in Langley Prairie. Together they had Fredrick James Brown and Evelyn May Brown. Her sister was Alice Elizabeth Gray and her maternal uncle was William Lawrence. She died at the age of 45 in 1929.
Gray, James Scroggy
James Scroggy Gray was a local farmer and the Reeve of Langley from 1892-1894. He was married to Margaret Lawrence, and they had a daughter named Kathleen. He and his brother-in-law, William Lawrence, worked together for a time framing barns.

Savage, Alice Elizabeth (nee Gray)
Alice Elizabeth Gray was born in about 1886. She married James Alexander Savage in Langley on December 4, 1907. She died in Vancouver on October 21, 1966, at the age of 80.
