This is a black and white photograph. It shows four men standing around a car with its hood open. There is a sign on top of the body of the car that is partially visible, which reads 'Fast f/ on/ new Chevro' on the left section which is in frame. Two of the men, the one on the right wearing coveralls and the one on the left wearing a dark suit with a turtleneck, and in the foreground, are speaking to each other in front of the car. The other two men, the one closer to the front wearing a dark suit and white collared shirt and the man farther away wearing light coloured coveralls and a hat, are standing in the left mid-ground, speaking to each other in front of the open hood of the car. In the background there is a wall, partially covered in striped panels, on which hangs a sign. On the left side there is the word 'PRESTON' surrounded by a Chevrolet logo with a dark border that spikes outwards. To the right of that it reads 'CHEVROLET-/ OLDSMOBILE/ LANGLEY', and the far right of the sign is cut off, but 'P' is still within the frame. This could have been taken the Preston Chevrolet-Oldsmobile (Chev-Olds) Service Station, or could be an advertisement for it elsewhere.
