Borden, Katherine Ethel (nee Gray)
Katherine Ethelwynne Borden (nee Gray) was born in Brierwood, Manitoba on May 19th 1892. In 1917 at the age of 24 she enlisted as a nurse in WW1, and served in England and France. She achieved the rank of Lieutenant. She continued to work as a nurse. Later in life she married Dr. Lorris Elijah Borden (1866-1963). She moved with her husband to the Langley area after the WW2. Katherine died in Victoria in 1975.
