Williams (family)
Charles Williams and his family cleared land and farmed in the Sperling district, B.C., in the 1880's. The family built a sawmill, known as the Salmon River Lumber Company, on the area now called Williams Park, in the vicinity of what is now 238th Street and 67th Avenue, in 1904-06.

Williams, George Leonard (Leonard)
George Leonard (Leonard) Williams was born in Sperling, September 5, 1890. He married Edith Ellen Smith in Fort Langley on October 16, 1912. Leonard appears to have died in 1956 at the age of 65.
