The roll is wooden with metal endings, and has a roll of paper with holes wound around it. The cardboard box has a green lid (c), and a white main body (b); the main box body has two wooden holders for the metal ends of the roll. The green lid is splitting apart on one side. There is a beige sticker on one end of the box lid which reads "2 45726 7/ Angelus./ Under the Annheuser Bush./ H. von Tilzer./ THE WILCOX & WHITE COMPANY/ Meriden, Conn., U.S.A./ 4" in black text. The roll also has the same information. The roll has "40794" stamped in blue ink once unrolled, followed by the U.S., Great Britain, German, and France patents of the product, in purple ink. Below these reads "Key of C." The rectangular holes in the roll are for the player piano to "read" the music and play the song.
