Dewar Shield (Pacific Nation Exhibition prize)
The Dewar Shield is awarded each year to the most outstanding District Agricultural Exhibit displayed at the Pacific National Exhibition, held in Vancouver, B.C., for the presentation, "in clear and graphic form, of a picture of the agriculture of an area of British Columbia." The shield was awarded to Langley in 1905, 1911, 1912, and 1913. In 1918 the shield still hung in the hall at Milner, as the exhibition had been suspended during World War One.
