This postcard (a) is made of embroidered fabric, possibly silk, in a paper frame, with a paper postcard back. Inside the fabric (front opens) is a small paper card (b) which can be removed as the fabric has a flap; the little card inside shows a drawing of a woman with a basket of flowers and reads "I'm thinking of you". The message embroidered in blue letters on the front of the (a) postcard reads "A BUNCH OF WHITE HEATHER" with green leaves, gold-brown cones/nuts, white flowers, and blue ribbon. The back of the postcard reads "FRANCE / Feb. 12th 1918 / Dear Mabel/ Am getting along fine how are you fine I hope, we are getting lovely (weather) [not visible from tape damage] + I suppose that you are (getting some) [not visible from tape damage] nice weather as well.
