1 barrister's Windsor Collar with wings; cotton; white; made in England; belonged to John Hira; approximately 1.5" tall, 15.5" long and 5" in diameter when buttoned; button hole at the back of the neck in the center; two button/stud holes on either end of the collar (to fasten closed); text printed inside the collar reads: "Cotton / Made in England" and "No. 14 Windsor 14-36"; size 14.

Hira, John

John Hira was born in Kampala, Uganda. He was first called to the bar in London, U.K. in 1953. He then practiced law in Uganda for over 10 years, before relocating to Vancouver in 1973. He and wife Ratna Hira settled in Langley and John Hira became a prominent barrister and partner at the prestigious Langley law firm of Severide, Staplin & Co., where he worked for over 30 years.
