Description
Item is a silver teapot with a large dent in the side. Engraved on the bottom is a seal with a deer and No. 1400 C. Engraved with birds and flowers.

Rondeau, Francois
Francois Rondeau was a well known missionary and long time resident of Hull, Quebec. He was born at Ste. Elizabeth, Quebec in 1835. His family was one of the first Protestant families in the area. Mr Rondeau studied at Point aux Trembles. For 25 years he was the representative elder of St. Mark's French Presbyterian Church, Ottawa. He married Miss Mary Seylaz in 1867. They had a daughter and one son. Rev. Francois Rondeau died on April 12, 1911. His granddaughter would settle in the White Rock area. Today Hull is part of the city of Gatineau.
