Lithographing and Printing Ltd. of Vancouver, B.C.; packed and shipped by British Columbia Fruit Shippers Ltd. of Vernon, B.C.; label reads: "Blue Grouse / Brand / Canadian Apples", "Packed & Shipped by British Columbia Fruit Shippers Ltd. Vernon, British Columbia", and "Contents One Volume Bushel"; small text along the bottom edge of the label reads: "Printed in Canada" and "Bulman Bros. B.C. Ltd. Van."; the background of the label is green, with a thin yellow and light green border around all four sides; the label features a landscape image with two large blue grouse in the center, and two apples pictured on either side; the apple on the left is red and the apple on the right is yellow; the text on the label is printed in blue, white and black.

Independent, non-grower packing house. Originally called J.E. Montague Ltd., the fruit and vegetable shipping company was started in 1926 by Mr. J.E. Montague. The name was changed to B.C. Fruit Shippers Ltd. in 1928. The original location was in Vernon, B.C. but the company eventually had packing houses in Oyama, Westbank, West Summerland and Oliver as well.

Bulman Bros. B.C. Lithographing and Printing Ltd.

Canadian lithography, photo/copper plate engraving, printing, embossing, box manufacturer and stationary supplier. The company began in 1892 in Winnipeg and expanded to Vancouver. In December 1930, Bulman Bros. Ltd. bought a complete plant in Vancouver, which came to be known as Bulman Bros. B.C. Lithographing and Printing Ltd.
