Brown, William
THERE ARE FOUR WILLIAM BROWNS in Langley's history. This William Brown was a son of Robert Brown. He lived in Langley Prairie, and is of no relation to Fort Langley's William Harvey (Billy) Brown.
Cameron, Alex
Scotsman Alexander Cameron arrived in Langley in 1887. He rented the old Murray home at Five Corners, Murrayville. His wife, Harriet (nee Roberts), three daughters and three sons arrived from East Williams, Ontario, in 1889. Alexander became the postmaster of the first Post Office in the area, which he named Lochiel after his ancestral home in Scotland. Cameron built the Lochiel School on land donated by Thomas Biggar. He died on November 29, 1933 at the age of 89.

Daughter of Alexander Cameron and his wife, Harriett. Annie died in Vancouver on June 2, 1902 at the age of 21.

Smith, Magnus Lloyd
Magnus Lloyd Smith was born on July 12, 1903 to Magnus and Bessie Smith, nee Cameron. He married Helen Sadie Thorberg (November 7, 1905-May 11, 2000) on February 20, 1924. The Smiths' children were Lloyd, born in 1924, Marge, born in 1927, Edward, born in 1932, and Gordon, born in 1934. Magnus died on August 10, 1986.
