Back, Arvid
Arvid Back married Gertrude, probably in the late 1920s. The couple moved to Fort Langley in the 1930s and farmed 22 acres on Allard Crescent. Arvid had the foreshore rights to the Fraser River at this property and built gill-netters out of his boatshed on the water. He also built the first Fish Packer in Fort Langley. His partner was Joe Sailes. Arvid and Gertrude had a daughter named Judy.
